OSINT Toolbox

Simple Open Source Intelligence tools for learning, research, and educational purposes. Explore digital investigation techniques, create analysis workflows, and practice with test datasets in a safe environment.

Investigation Graph

Build investigative link charts with ready-made node types, rich relationship metadata, and offline storage.

  • 30+ node templates with category color themes
  • Directional links with confidence and importance scores
  • Browser autosave plus JSON import/export

Coordinate Converter

Decode grid references, geocodes, and map projections into standard WGS84 latitude/longitude.

  • Supports UTM, MGRS, GEOREF, Lambert-93, Gauss-Krüger, and State Plane grids
  • Understands what3words, Plus Codes, geohash, Mapcode, NAC, and IP geolocation
  • Highlights missing context (reference city, API key) for tricky encodings

Sock Puppet Generator

Generate fictional personas for red teaming and OSINT drills in seconds.

  • Region-aware names, addresses, and background details
  • Full contact, employment, and finance fields in one view
  • Copy-ready output with built-in rate limiting

Taipower Infrastructure Lookup

Look up Taiwan Power pole locations by code and inspect them on layered maps.

  • Layered OSM, dark, and satellite map views for context
  • Suggests close code matches and exports GIS-ready coordinates

TraceMap

Turn traceroutes into interactive maps with enrichment for routing analysis.

  • Parses traceroute, tracert, and mtr output with ASN, geo, and CDN enrichment
  • Surfaces latency anomalies and exports GeoJSON for GIS review

ProtonMail Intelligence

Profile ProtonMail domains and PGP keys to triage inbox targets fast.

  • Detects native vs hosted ProtonMail domains
  • Reveals catch-all behaviour with key creation times and algorithms

Wayback Keyword Search

Search archived snapshots for keywords with polite, flexible querying.

  • Fetches capture lists and downloads snapshots with polite rate limiting
  • Supports keyword, phrase, and regex search modes

GitHub Investigator

Summarize a GitHub account’s public footprint from one lookup.

  • Single username lookup pulls profile, org, repo, event, and SSH key data
  • Extracts contributor and commit email evidence for pivoting

Instagram Relationship Mapper

Surface cross-tagging links between Instagram accounts from Google results.

  • Builds relationship graphs with direct evidence links
  • Exports JSON or PlantUML with configurable depth and confidence scoring

Social Profile Media Extractor

Grab the highest resolution Instagram profile images still reachable without an account.

  • Accepts usernames or full profile URLs
  • Includes proxy-backed fallback for rate-limited lookups

Frequently Asked Questions

How is my data handled when I use these tools?

Your inputs stay in the browser or in memory just long enough to answer the request. We don’t log search terms, generated personas, or account lookups, and only keep coarse-grained metrics to monitor abuse and uptime.

Will these tools be open source?

Many tools will become open source over time, with priority given to services that are harder to self-host for large audiences. Follow the roadmap and releases on github.com/0xw01f; each drop includes deployment notes so you can run it yourself.

Do I need an account or API keys to get started?

No account is required to explore the toolbox. Some integrations (like GitHub) let you supply your own API token to raise rate limits, but every tool works out of the box without credentials.

How can I request new tools or improvements?

We ship updates iteratively based on community feedback. Tag @horus_0d on X, or open an issue on the 0xw01f GitHub once the relevant project is public—priority goes to workflows that help multiple investigators.
